Founded in 1968
Raumalaiskiekkoilun Tuki ry (Rauma Ice Hockey Support Association) is a strong promoter and background force of Rauma ice hockey. The support association is the backbone of Rauma ice hockey, and its main task is to ensure the best possible prerequisites for high-quality junior activities and successful elite ice hockey in Rauma.
The main income from fundraising comes from investments owned by the association. The activities supported by the association must be high-quality and financially sound. The association must have a good understanding of the best operators and operating conditions in junior and elite ice hockey.
The forms of support distributed by the association include, among other things, supporting juniors' ice time fees, scholarships distributed to junior players, and active participation in the development of Lukko's junior activities by supporting the Lukko Academy.
At the same time, care is taken to ensure that the Lukko representative team's competitiveness remains sufficient in the Finnish Ice Hockey League (SM-liiga).
The association's chairman is Veli-Matti Lanne, and the vice-chairmen are Janne Rautavuori and Janne Mokka.
